World War Z temporarily won the battle last night, earning 3.6 million last night from 8PM and Midnight shows. Monsters University, which appeals to a much younger audience, earned 2.6 million, for a really great start. Industry insiders are saying 70-75M for Monsters University, 50-55M for Man of Steel, and 45-50M for World War Z is what the weekend seems to be shaping up for. That's a pretty incredible gross for the top 3 films.
