Whether you love it or loathe it. The World Cup is here once again. The kick off begins on Thursday June 12 and will be on televisions all over the world.
The first England match plays out on Saturday 14th June at the rather late time of 11pm. This also happens to be the night before my birthday.
I absolutely hate football. I hate it with a passion. Endless days of being forced to watch some jumped up rich guys kicking around a ball and being paid thousands isn’t my thing at all. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy parties and getting into the spirit of things. I am English after all and a bit of cheer does no harm.
I’m about to put up a few small pieces around my house in time for the whole World Cup fever. It’s raining outside and I don’t have much else to do on a Saturday morning.
Party Packs have kindly sent me some useful World Cup party bits to get going with.
Firstly some flag bunting showing 25 flags of the countries taking part. It’s for inside use so could be hung inside the window or on a wall, around a mirror etc. There is an option with 32 flags and these start at just £2.58.
Balloons are always perfect for any occasion. They come in packs of 10 and in colours of green, yellow and blue. I will have to get someone help me with these as I am totally hopeless at blowing them up. £2.34 per pack.
More flag bunting. This one has the Brazil World Cup logo. The flags are plastic and look pretty eye catching hung up. £2.70 each.
Finally a World Cup banner. Perfect to tape to the inside of a window or just put on a wall. Just £4.74 each.
