Warner Bros. announced Monday that Wonder Woman 2 will be released on Nov. 1, 2019 instead of Dec. 13, 2019 as originally planned.
The superhero movie starring, Gal Gadot will hit theaters 6 weeks earlier than planned.
Patty Jenkins, who directed the first Wonder Woman, is directing the sequel. According to reports, the film grossed more than $800 million globally, more than half of that from domestic screens, making it the highest-grossing live action movie directed by a woman.
This was a good move, can you imagine the congestion at the movie theaters if both of these movies came out at the same time.
