DC's Wonder Woman film will finally hit theaters on October 2, 2020, the director of the film announced on Friday evening. The film, starring Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, was delayed from August to October in a new Wonder Woman 1984 report due to COVID-19[female[feminine.
The film was originally postponed from December 2019 to avoid competing with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The Wonder Woman release date of June 5 was then postponed due to the spread of the coronavirus in March.

The first trailer for Wonder Woman 2 was launched on December 8, pointing to the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor and Robin Wright as General Antiope. The new faces of Kristen Wiig as supervisor Cheetah and Pedro Pascal as villain Maxwell Lord will also join the sequel to Wonder Woman.
"It will be worth the wait," Gadot promised in his own tweet Friday evening.
