Inspired by the all too real horror of foetal abductions, director Bridget Smith (Sno Babies, The Retaliators) explores this devastating crime and the twisted motivations behind the perpetrators in deeply disturbing horror Womb. The film is set to arrive on digital this April courtesy of Reel 2 Reel Films.
Recovering addict Hayley (Taylor Hanks – The Giant) is hopeful for a fresh start, with a baby on the way and a loving fiancée (Myles Clohessy – Instinct, Blue Bloods) by her side, she embarks on a cosy get away to bond with her soon to be sister-in-law Martha (Ellen Adair – The Sinner, Homeland).
But Hayley’s hopes of rest and relaxation soon turns into an unbearable nightmare when she becomes the target of a deranged and cold-blooded killer fixated on abducting her unborn child.
