A woman was arrested in possession of two National Identity Cards when she came for the conferment ceremony of the National Education Diploma holders at Temple Trees under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Kollupitiya police said.
The suspect is a 27-year-old women resident of Kinniya Kutti, Karachi. During the inspection by the police officers of the persons participating in the graduation ceremony, these two ID cards were found in the possession of the suspect.
The suspect was handed over to the Kollupitiya Police and released on police bail after investigations conducted by the Department of Registration of Persons.
