A team of Police Special Task Force officers have arrested a woman who was distributing drugs smuggled into the country by an underworld criminal named ‘Kudu Salidu’ who is co-ordinating his operations from Dubai.
The arrested 38 year old woman is said to have been distributing drugs in the Panadura and Moratuwa areas.
The Special Task Force found 20 grams and 600 milligrams of heroin, Rs.103,000 and a mobile phone in the woman’s possession.
She has been remanded after being presented at the Moratuwa courts.
