Wishing for the Sunshine

It's winter I am aware of this before anyone points it out. Just as one of my New Years resolutions (again aware the list is getting far larger than I expected!) is to look forward and be positive than ..moan basically.  One of the things I always look forward to is the Spring and Summer, the sun is out and the positive part of the year emerges.  Now I know we've not had a typical Winter at all, as it's really felt more like March/April.  With this in mind I've been looking at what fashion fun bits are to come for Spring.   I'm a big fan of 18 AND EAST, they have some fantastic new items out for SS12.  I know the last thing I want to do is reach for my short skirts and sleeveless tops, but that doesn't excuse not being prepared (or wishing about warmer weather!) 
The summer collection as you can see above shows that there is plenty of fun prints to come.

18 AND EAST are famed for their gorgeous prints and all of their new season collection is full of them.  This time we see the arrival of their pigeon print and the plate print.  All of their items have had their inspiration from the runway shows, but of course at a fraction of the price.  Everytime I see these clothes I keep thinking about holidays, embracing the fun at a festival, or even just chilling in the garden with a huge Pimms! 
Dress Overlay Playsuit

I know it's not the summer... and from looking out my window and seeing such a miserable day it clearly isn't going to be warm anytime soon!  However, I like to plan ahead, and when I was browsing the 18 AND EAST website I spied this lovely playsuit.  It's £40.00 and worth every penny, as could be worn during these colder months but equally so in the warmer ones.  I'm really looking forward to seeing more of their new season items, and styling them up ready for the sunny months! Totally something to be positive about and look forward too.
