Wisher Vodka celebrates World Cocktail Day in Decentraland metaverse. To celebrate World Cocktail Day in the Metaverse, Wisher Vodka set a world record for the biggest happy hour in Decentraland. In addition, the event was held on Friday, May 13, while the festivities continued until early Saturday morning.
Wisher Vodka is a women-owned Vodka brand which exists fully in the metaverse. Wisher released a cocktail-themed series of 1,056 NFTs on March 12th.
Emily Gillis-Terry, one of the co-founders, explained: Since we broke ground on our meta- distillery last Sep in Decentraland and have been hosting parties every week since, we aimed to create lots of happy time to recognize World Cocktail Day, and we decided to make it the greatest hour of joy ever in Decentraland.
On May 13, the World Cocktail Day celebrations started with a Kong DJ set at 5pm Eastern Time. In addition, at 6pm, guitarist John Marvin Scott took the stage at Wisher Meta-Distillery followed by Toigo at 7 pm.
“Before even a drop of vodka was sold at brick, we aimed to release Wisher in the Metaverse to celebrate our first big fans”, stated Kimberly LaRose, co-founder. “The Web 3.0 community has welcomed us with open arms, and we would like to welcome everyone to our meta-distillery as we strive to set a world record for the largest bash in Decentraland the current Friday.”
Lastly, the metaverse initial Wisher Vodka is evolving to change the way the alcohol industry works. Moreover, to enjoy Wisher Vodka or get NFTs, you must be at least 21 years old.
