I’m in one of the best moods I’ve ever been lately. Why? First of all, you. Thanks for all the nice comments and helpful feedback on yesterday’s post. I really appreciate it and am listening to everything you said while making plans for a new and improved Lovely By Lucy. You might not see all of it within a week yet, but believe me, behind the scenes I’m working hard on it!
Second, the weather is nice again. It’s crazy how much sunshine affects my mood these days, I guess I’m just really longing for spring and summer.
Third, some exciting projects that are going on, like an exciting shoot yesterday and something that has to do with the watch I’m wearing. But more on that later.
Last but not least, a very personal win. The first real out in the open belly button-exposure since a long, long time. There was a time last year after having surgery to my abdomen, when I got rid of all my crop tops. I’ve started wearing them again these last few weeks because I do really like them, but still with really high waist jeans or trousers, no exposure. But I think now is finally the time that I have embraced my 5 tiny scars and have accepted that they are part of who I am. Which sounds really cheesy and I know there’s people that have much bigger scars, but for me it was kind of an issue. I could have easily photoshopped them this morning, but I chose not to. I think it had to do with all your comments about you being interested in part of my personal life as well, and all your amazing reactions at times when I open up about things.
So multiple wins today, I’m feeling happy!
