Despite my excitement, eventually the reality of Missouri weather began to sink in. And then it hit me, all I have to do is winterize. When temperatures drop, we make provisions for everything from our cars to houses: a little insulation here, a little antifreeze there. So why not apply the same idea to my wardrobe? So, to winterize my maxi I layered it with one of my favorite J.Crew button downs, and topped it off with a fur vest. Boom boom shebang, me and my new maxi are in business.
