This weekend was supposed to be super swamped with parties, cleaning, errands and more! However, mother nature had her own way come Friday morning when we were supposedly going to get hit with a few inches of snow.
As far as Atlanta is concerned, whenever they get a dusting of snow, the city seems to shut down. I was lucky enough to get let out early from work Friday, go pick up my daughter from school and get home before the real part of the snow storm started! Zach was able to get home a few hours later and we loved watching all the snowflakes come down. Although...it just kept coming..and coming..and coming!
Before long, we realized it was a lot more than about 2 or 3 inches but more like 7-10 inches in our backyard! Of course our midwest little lady had to get outside as soon as she saw the snow but bad parents that we are, I didn't have very great snow gear for her to enjoy the weather so we made do ha! She loved helping shovel the driveway, make a snowman with Daddy and enjoy the cold!
The rest of the weekend was full of a few errands, baking cookies and enjoying some time with friends who we watched. Incase you're wondering, Lily has become obsessed with the movie Trolls and when we spotted these pajamas at a store she insisted on getting and wearing them the rest of the day. Whatever this little lady wants when she's been good.
