Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breath-taking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.
Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won't approve of her feelings for her childhood friend-the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn't as weak as Levana believes her to be and she's been undermining her stepmother's wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that's been raging for far too long.
Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters? Fans will not want to miss this thrilling conclusion to Marissa Meyer's national bestselling Lunar Chronicles series.

WHAT I THOUGHTWinter is my favourite book from the Lunar Chronicles. I loved it and thought it was a great way to end the series. This is a much longer book than the other books and took a lot longer to read but I loved every word on every page. Everything comes full circle in Winter as expected. All of the plot events that have been building up in Cinder, Scarlet and Cress come together to make a cracking read - Cinder accepts her destiny as Selene, the rightful queen of Luna and Levana pays for being an evil old cow. Winter is my favourite character of the series. I wish she had appeared in the previous novels. She's never used her Lunar gifts and repressing them causes her to have nightmares and strange visions and other troubles but she's as brave as everyone else, braver considering the strain on her mind. I'm glad she got a reasonably happy ending. The end of Winter is a bit cheesy because everything works out but this is exactly what the series has been preparing us for. I'm now a huge Lunar Chronicles fangirl and I'm not ashamed of it. Winter is brilliant. Go out and read it and the rest of the series while you're at it. Unmissable.
