Today we’re traveling to the magical snowy Alpine village of Italy, to the romantic winter wedding of Cara and Jonathan. The beautiful couple traveled from Australia to Italy, just for their wedding! They dreamt of a wedding in the Alps, where the landscape is snowy and completely magical. Their ceremony took place in a little chapel of the village and was intimate and meaningful. After their ceremony, the couple and their favorite people had a great time celebrating with an elegant dinner and a great dancing party. From The Knot In Italy: “Brace yourselves! A wedding in Italy with Snow! Yes you can! This wedding is dating Jan 2019 and set already a new trend. A winter wedding. Cara & Jonathan traveled from Australia for this intimate white and romantic wedding in the Alps! The setting: Courmayeur one of the most romantic, secluded and chic Alpine village. The backdrop: Mont Blanc! Both Alpine sports lovers they chose to give their wedding an understated and romantic touch. The celebrations started with a welcome party at the Caffe Della Posta right in the center of the village. The ceremony in the little chapel of the village was intimate, meaningful, but the surprise was an incredible trip via snow scooter and gattobus to the highest restaurant of the region La Grolla for the wedding party: right in front of the Mont Blanc which for the occasion wore the best white cover of ever! Their guests were amazed by the trip, the snow, the incredible view, the experience. The staff at La Grolla welcome them with the traditional bonfire and a sumptuous aperitif with Aperol Spritz and mountain specialities! An intimate and elegant dinner followed warm up the atmosphere which ended with a great dancing party till the early morning. The challenge, the snow scooters and gattobus to come back to the Village. A special thank you to all the guests that have team up for making this wedding a real adventure!”
