While most years my winters include dark depressing colors, lots black eye-liner, lincoln park after dark nails, and 3 months of hibernation....I decided to take a different approach in winter '14. Since "winter white" clothes are back and bigger than ever, I figured pastels could be as well. They are close enough to pure winter whites, but they prevent you from going the whole 9 yards. The best thing about winter pastel colors is that they transition perfectly into the spring. You can use the pastels as a pop of color to your winter outfit, but then transition them as the focal point in a spring or summer outfit.
