Wine Paradise – The Wine Company

By Rohit Dassani

Welcome to the paradise of Wine’s not in France but in DLF CyberHub, Gurgaon. The Wine Company is known for its extensive range of Wine’s from most of the European regions and its Indian counterparts as well. Not much of a Wine lover, I was impressed with their Wine and other liquor’s range. We went on a busy Saturday evening and the place was buzzing with people, music, food and ofcourse Wine! The ambiance was lively and the dim lights made the place even more attractive! People were really enjoying as I could see a glass of Wine in every table!

The place is huge with indoor as well as outdoor seating’s. Make sure to reserve your place well in advance or prepared to wait. We decided to sit inside on a side table just behind the countless Wine bottles. The service was slow and it took a while for the staff to realize that the menu has not been shared yet. Well we decided to order the LIIT and the Classical Mojito. The LIIT was strong as expected but lacked a bit of sugar. The Mojito had strong taste of mint and had perfect sweetness added to it.

We ordered the Fully Loaded Fries which had Jalapenos, cilantro, mayo and melted cheese on top. The portion was large and enough to fill the tummy for two! A little more sweet and chili sauce on the fries would have been perfect. We also tried their Ravioli Corn Spinach with Mascarpone cheese in Saffron Butter sauce. I was really looking forward to this dish but the corn made the Ravioli too chewy and the flavor of the saffron was too mild!
