We write about a lot of charities due to the giving nature of the True Blood cast and crew. But the item being auctioned off on Charity Buzz until May 7th is pretty unique and has a personal connection for Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse). The actor donated a lock of his hair that was then turned into a diamond by Sky and Livi. Sky and Livi normally do this for women who are losing their hair while going through chemotherapy treatments so that they can have something beautiful from something they must lose.
Ryan chose to go through the process in honor of his mother who is a breast cancer survivor. The proceeds from the sale of the beautiful blue diamond will go to Look Good…Feel Better, an organization that helps women who are dealing with cancer.
The bidding is at $2,500 so far with only one bid. It closes on May 7th and you can place your bid here.
