Britney Spears unveiled her latest collaborative effort during Wednesday’s episode of The X Factor.
“Walking to the stage now but I’ll be back afterwards,” tweeted Britney before the première. “… cannot wait to hear what y’all think of the video!!!”
“Wow!!! I feel so excited and full of energy right now!!!” tweeted will.i.am. “I want to #screamANDshout…. thank you all … the full video will be on Vevo shortly.”
Portrayed as the latest dance track, will.i.am unveiled the song for the first time via video première.
Like most fans, I bet, I expected much more. It’s all downhill from the moment you press play.
The multiple Britney Spears I can deal with; it’s the distorted voice demanding that I “turn this shit up” that I can’t stand. C’mon, that doesn’t even sound like Britney’s voice!
Meanwhile, will.i.am has decided he’s the new blinged-out Batman. Dressed in black from head to toe, the rapper decided to throw on a cape and some gaudy gold jewelry.
Newsflash, will.i.am: you don’t look nearly as good as you think you do. Take that ridiculous crown off of your head- you look like member of Burger King’s birthday club.
A golden ax, flaming disco balls and many more poor fashion choices round out the video. Believe me, you aren’t missing much.
