As the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 release date (rumoured) draws nearer, excitement among the Galaxy Note fans is rising. Would Note 8 meet the expectations of the fans? What new innovations it will bring? Well, the whole picture will become clear only when the Note 8 is released. But thanks the steady stream of 'leaks,' we already know pretty much about Note 8 specs and highlights.
Note 8 Release Date:
Thanks to various Samsung Galaxy Note 8 leaks and rumours, we know that it will be the biggest dream model by Samsung yet! The multi-million dollar company has confirmed that its flagship device Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will release in 2017. As per unconfirmed rumours, July 20 might be the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Date . However, as Samsung hasn't given any confirmation of the date yet, it may or may not be true.
IFA Executive Director, Jens Heithecker, has stated in a press meeting, that the electronic trade event in Berlin would be a better place for Samsung to unveil its upcoming flagship, the Galaxy Note 8. That is scheduled to take place between 1 to 6 September. So, if Note 8 doesn't release in July, we can hope that Note 8 might be released in September, 2017. This should please the owners of original Note 7 who have waited for a while now to get a new Note.
Note 8 Specs:
As per leaks, Note 8 will be powered by Snapdragon 835 CPU for American models and their international counterpart. It will be engineered with Exynos 8895 CPU. Coming to the storage capacity, it will sport 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It will come with a 6.4-inch screen with QHD+ resolution. The rumours about Note 8 specs also hint that the display will be edge-to-edge AMOLED infinity display. It will be powered by 3300 mAh battery.
Note 8 specs' rumours also hint that it will have dual rear camera setup. This might include a 12MP wide-angle lens and a 13MP telephoto one. Another rumour states that there will be 3x optical zoom.
As per the Note 8 specs leaks, the device will arrive with dual-firing speakers, it would therefore provide true stereo sound which is very much similar to Apple's new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Note 8 S-Pen:
Speaking of S-Pen stylus, it is expected to be more pressure-sensitive and easier to move around and lay more accurate pen strokes. It will have improved skills in drag and drop, hover, annotate and illustrate on objects. The advantage of using a stylus, instead of finger, is that it keeps the display smudge-free. With more capable S-Pen, using it will become more convenient.
Note 8 Design:
Samsung has said that they are not planning a big design change with the Galaxy Note 8, and the upcoming device might resemble the Galaxy S8 line. The device will have narrower bezel to accommodate the edge-to-edge infinity display. It is likely to have curved glass front and back. Also, the rumours about Note 8 specs also hint that it will have a Bixby hardware button.
Word of caution:All the information stated above is based upon the Note 8 specs leaks & rumours. The leaked specifications of Note 8 have not been confirmed by the South Korean technology company itself. One thing is confirmed though, Note 8 is going to be a fabulous device. After the Note 7 debacle, Samsung can be expected to make all efforts to release a winner.
