And so, the packing has begun! While I am a die hard procrastinator, I can trust myself to only procrastinate until it is the last possible minute before most people would start panicking. That being said, I decided today that it was time to begin at least gathering clothing items since we leave for Boston on Wednesday. Packing for nearly four seasons with only two suitcases is a lot harder than it seems, however packing staples has been my motto/saving grace. Currently, I've got heaps of denim packed, as well as tops, however I am thoroughly avoiding packing shoes. While packing is an obvious wake up call in itself, I don't think I'll actually realize my school year abroad is happening until I get there. It's one of those things where the idea is easily to throw around in your mind but the situation is difficult to actualize until you're living it.
With my days numbered in suburbia, I've also been trying to hit all of my favorite spots around town/area. Whether that be indulging in delicious foods from my favorite restaurants or simply relishing in free time at home, I've been trying to just soak everything up. Another stop was the wildflowers along the expressway, which seems to be a major attraction for our area. After shooting these pictures at sun down, onlookers also took some pictures in front of these plentiful wildflowers. You'd never guess that these pictures were shot in New Jersey, which is what I love about it. Combined with my understated fringe kimono + flower spotted shift dress, this makes for a perfect end of summer frolic look.
