Wedge sneakers have been a big deal for a while now. I've seen both Isabel Marant's and Marc Jacob's versions a fair amount in NYC, a few times in Boston, and absolutely never in Maine. But I must say, that while I wasn't totally sold on the trend before going to Europe, I am now (more after the jump).
Why? Because look how well these ladies rock them! It doesn't hurt that the rest of their outfits are killer, too; I'm practically salivating over the woman's get-up in the photo below. The sneaks, the white jeans, the scarf, the vest on the back of the chair...but mostly, it's the sweatshirt with the elbow pads that gets me.
And I must say, the lady in the first photo is doing that shearling jacket a world of good. I'm pretty into the fact that her wedge sneaks are leopard print, too. Go big or go home, right? Oh Paris, I miss you. And your beautiful people.
