Why to Choose Coreless Thermal Paper Rolls

Posted on the 25 October 2018 by Infographixdirectory @infographixdir

Thermal paper is a fine paper coated with chemical which can change color when exposed to heat. It has been the most popular receipts used in retail & POS industry. For decades of years, there is a plastic or cardboard core inside thermal paper. The cores are in different sizes and shapes. But now we see more and more merchants choose coreless thermal paper rolls.
As development of technology, the converting machines can produce coreless thermal rolls easily. And most thermal printers eliminate the central axis which helped paper feeding. With a coreless roll, the cashier doesn’t have to remove and throw the core when the paper runs out. It enhances cashier productivity. In other way, it’s good to the environment too. For merchants, they won’t pay money for the plastic or paper core. Last, the coreless roll saves space and can increase the paper length which decreases the times for changing the rolls.
