Close by to the Faraglioni Rocks, is the Garden of Augustus which we previously mentioned earlier as the perfect site for a sunset viewing. This garden during the day is a flashback to the decadence of the wealthy Ancient Romans and their love of embellishing their surrounding temples with lush greenery. There is a small euro entry fee and from there you have access to the best views in Capri.

Feeling adventurous? Try a boat tour or hire one out yourself to visit both the rocks and the Blue Grotto, a sea cave with a blue reflection that glistens when the sun hits the entrance of the cave. These two spots are amongst the most viewed attractions in Capri so make this a priority for your time on this gorgeous island.

Where to Eat

For stunning views of epic proportions, dine at the Ristorante La Fontelina for a full look over the Mediterranean sea and the Faraglioni Rocks. While the menu can be quite pricey, you’re paying for fresh seafood and local produce with some of the best views on the island. Another primely located restaurant is Da Luigi ai Faraglioni, a historical eatery that opened in 1936. This establishment also doubles as a bathing area where you can swim or laze around to your heart’s content. They even provide a boat shuttle service back to Marine Piccola for when you want to head back to the main area.
