Nigeria's and arguably one of Africa's biggest award shows, The Headies held on Sunday February 21, 2021 to honour and award music talents.
The event saw popular and underground artistes as well as stakeholders of the Nigeria Music Industry attend in numbers for the 14th Edition of the Headies Awards Show.
Industry heavyweights like Wizkid, Tubaba, and some others graced the 2020 Headies awards ceremony with their stardom.
However, one pivotal player who was absent despite receiving numerous nominations was Davido.
Fans, and lovers of the Jowo crooner have been wondering why the African star didn't attend the award show.
Well, the reason for his absence is because he had flown out to Australia prior to the commencement of the show.
Hours before the award show, the DMW boss revealed that he was flying out to have a better time.
He shared a photo of himself at the airport with the caption;
