Who is Bill “The Billionaire”

BILL “THE BILLIONAIRE”

Bio

After a little less than a year and a half, Bill “The Billionaire,” has left a permanent imprint in comedy. Bringing a refreshing no-holds bars, un-apologetic extremely explosive energy to the stage, Queens-born and Jersey-Bred Bill “The Billionaire;” actor, comedian, writer and producer is not unfamiliar with the spotlight. With no plans of working in the entertainment industry as a youth, Bill was on his road to the NCAA as a high school phenom until he was struck with the debilitating bacterial meningitis. Bed ridden for three months, The Billionaire lost scholarships to Marist and Florida International. After learning to walk again, Bill adapted a brand new appreciation for each day he was given. Knowing he never meant to play the role of audience, fan, or cheerleader, Bill naturally took to acting. Bill got his first taste of the spotlight at Deleware State University where he participated in an improv group and stage plays. These activities cultured his talent and led to several acting roles. His film accolades include parts in Spiderman 3 and American Gangsta, Music & Lyric featuring Drew Barrymore, and 2007 Blockbuster I am Legend. On a whim, in December of 2010, Bill went to see Tracy Morgan perform in New York City at Caroline’s Comedy Club. In that moment he decided he wanted to do comedy. “I hadn’t truly felt challenged since my days in high school basketball. As I watched Tracy Morgan I realized that when you hit that stage as a comedian it’s a show-down between you and the audience. I wanted that rush.” To date Bill, also known as Mr. Money Bags of Funny, has already shared the stage with Capone, (Showtime at the Apollo Amateur Night, N.Y. Kings of Comedy Tour) Sarah Contreras (Latin Queen of Comedy) Bill has also been a guest on 107.5 WBLS’ Jeff Fox Show, Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club, Carolines Comedy Club and the feature comedian at the Sigma Comedy show at Penn State University. Performing for an intimate group at your local comedy lounge, or for an audience of 800 in the auditorium of Division 1 University, the underlying message in always the same, “Life is too short.” Bill attributes his success on stage to his uncanny ability to connect with the audience. He says, “There’s so much negativity out there. Someone in the audience doesn’t know how they’re going to pay their mortgage, a woman in my audience has lost her only son, a single female in the audience has worked hard for a Master’s degree but can’t find work. For the hour I’m on stage, I can capture them and take them somewhere else.” Determined to penetrate comedy as a more than a mouth piece, Bill is currently working on several projects that will not only create a concrete legacy for himself but aid those who come after him. His production company One Laugh To Live holds a monthly comedy series that brings together up and coming comedians and already well established comedians in a effort to create camaraderie and new opportunities. The roster almost always includes a mix of rookies and notables from BET’s Comic View, Comedy Central, Who Got Jokes, and more. One Laugh to Live also writes and produces viral sketch comedies that are accessible to anyone within the stroke of a keyboard. Actor, comedian, writer, and producer. Bill will eventually add other talents to is repertoire; director eventually. Tyler Perry, watch out!
