According To Manson Def Jam Asked Him To Keep Tabs On The Recordings Because Jay-Z Was A ‘Stupid Kid Smoking Blunts.”
Mahan Also Stated That Over The Last Decade He Repeatedly Made Jay’s People Aware That He Had The Recordings In His Possession And That He Never Got A Response . He Now Says That The Extortion Plot As It’s Being Called Is A Misunderstanding And That He Just Needed The Money Because He Could No Longer Afford To Keep The Tapes In Storage .
