Having previously worked in the kitchens of India’s ace restaurant, Indian Accent and having spearheaded and designed the menus of places like Masala Library, Mumbai and Farzi Café, Delhi, chef Himanshu has glamorized Indian food by thrusting traditional staples under fine dining spotlight.  Located in the bustling corporate hub of Dubai, DIFC, Carnival will feature Indian food in a never-seen-before avatar. Incorporating cues from across the globe, the restaurant will feature Indian fused presented with a global, contemporary spin, be it in terms of taste or presentation.

As the name suggests, ‘Carnival’ is a celebration, a gala, a gastronomic fiesta, the mélange of fun and food, which ensures that right from the moment you walk in, till you seal the meal, there’s magic all around you, resonating with the resplendence of food theatrics and the playful wizardry of whimsical presentation. Be it quirky nomenclature of the dishes or savoring them in a completely innovative avatar, Carnival, set to open in February 2016,  takes forth the legacy created by Tresind, and adds a quirky, celebratory touch to it. Helmed by the supremely talented young chef, Himanshu Saini, along with chef Vinu Raveendran from Mugaritz, Spain, one can only imagine what these powerhouses of talent will bring to the table, combining their ingenuity and talent.
