I'm longing for some hot summer days so I can make my little ol' way down the steps to my beach hut and soak up some sunshine. I can't think of anything better right now than lying on a golden beach, with wet sea salt tousled hair, sun-kissed skin & some good company. So much so I'm incredibly tempted to book a holiday and get the hell outta here. These are just a couple of my necessities for a hot day at the beach. To me white and gold is the ultimate summer combo and really works well to lift a tan. I picked up this white bandeau bikini in H&M a few years back. As an alternative from a full body chain, this Gold Cross Necklace from Primark is perfect to wear around your waist, above the top of your bikini briefs. This just adds a bit of interest and ties in well with the gold detailing from both the bikini and the sunglasses. The Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray is the perfect hair product for me. Messy, wavy and tousled hair spritzed with sea salt is a dream. If like me, you like your hair after it's wet from the sea but slightly dried from the sun, give your hair a few spritz of Bumbles Surf Spray after you've washed your hair to achieve a wavy and textured beach look. I'm going to place another order with Bumble and Bumble this week as there are a few other products I'd like to try.
The blog is under a slight makeover as I felt it was about time I switched it up a bit. It's not finished and is more of a work in progress. I'm in limbo between sticking with blogger, moving to wordpress or getting a whole new website constructed altogether. I have a vision in my mind of what I'd like it to look like, but I've just got to get there.
