Whisky Review – Whiskey Del Bac Distillers Cut Cask Strength American Single Malt

Welcome to Round #2 of Kiddushfest Pre-Game Whisky Reviews...

Same distillery. Whiskey Del Bac by Hamilton Distillers.

Same style. American Single Malt made with mesquite-smoked malted barley.

Higher octane. 60.25% ABV vs. the "paltry" 45% ABV Dorado.

Here's what Hamilton Distillers has to say about their Distillers Cut:

Never Sourced - Never Chill-Filtered. Distillers Cut is an exercise in the art of blending by utilizing varying malts, cask types and finishing methods, all to showcase cask strength single malt whiskey. Our third release (Batch# 18-1) of Distiller's Cut features a blend of whiskey finished in ex-bourbon casks. Our most robust blend to date, this release prominently features notes of smoked Madagascar Vanilla, followed by dried apricot.

We view this bit of big flavor, high-octane pre-gaming as our warm-up before the main event. Cause you know, we're the professional athletes of the drinking world!
