The Nautilus Whiskey Bar
This is located at the roof deck of one of the newest hotels in the heart of Quezon City. Prime Hotel is the first hospitality business expansion of MEGA Global. Yep, the same company behind the Best Sardines Company in the Philippines - MEGA Sardines.
Prime Hotel opened its doors in November 2017 with 39 beautifully designed rooms that features great amenities and overlooking cityscape view. Besides accommodation, the hotel also offers sizable venues for events, a Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality Game Room, KTV rooms and as mentioned, a cozy rooftop bar called The Nautilus Whiskey Bar.
Though I don't usually go to bars, I can appreciate and love how cozy this place is - from the big door that leads to a steampunk-inspired bar with rustic interior as well as comfortable chairs and sofa to the breathtaking view of the city skyline. This is indeed a beautiful and perfect place to hang out with friends - the girls of @foodieviewsph or colleagues after work.
Moreover, The Nautilus Whiskey Bar also has an outdoor seating giving you a better view of the skyline. They even have performers that will bring you great music every night. Moving on with the food and drinks they offer, The Nautilus Whiskey Bar has quite a lot from Bar Chow choices, to sandwiches, pasta, and main dishes. We got to sample a few of them.

The food we sample are good but I have my favorites. I enjoyed the juicy, umami rich Wagyu Cubes Skewers. It's cooked to perfection and definitely melts in your mouth.
Another is the Tuna and Mushroom Alfredo. As mentioned, Prime Hotel is under the same company behind MEGA Sardines. In this penne pasta dish, they incorporated their MEGA tuna flakes with an addition of mushroom bits topped with white cream sauce. It's simple but very flavorful.
Last is the House Buffalo Chicken Wings. This spicy buffalo wings is drenched in fiery pepper hot sauce and melted butter. It is served with a side of blue cheese dressing. I was a bit caught off guard at first because I didn't know it was spicy. 😀 But I was able to enjoy the flavors and spiciness after.
Oh, we got to try one of their cocktails, too! The Nautilus Sling is one colorful cocktail that consists of orange juice and lime juice with triple sec, blue curacao and bourbon whiskey garnished with a slice of lemon and a cherry.
Besides cocktails, The Nautilus Whiskey Bar also offers some local and imported beers, wine and champagne. They even have Aberfeldy 21 Year Old Scotch Whisky, Royal Salute 21 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky, Lagavulin 16 Year Old Scotch Whisky and more.
