I’m baaaack!
It’s crazy to feel like so much has happened in only a week away from the blog world. I am definitely that annoying person butting into your conversation or interrupting at the end of a movie, “What’s going on? What happened? What did I miss?” Besides going to bed at a decent time every night (what a concept, right?), wrapping up two projects and signing four more, and FINALLY getting on Instagram, here’s what my week looked like:
In case you missed it, my home was featured on the Glitter Guide last week! The response was truly overwhelming and I so appreciated everyone’s kind words!
I received an award from my peers in the Junior League of Orange County, CA for the work I did on our charity fundraiser’s materials last year. I was so surprised and really honored, as I admire these ladies like you have no idea.
I got to take a quick trip to Palm Springs to judge the ADDY advertising awards. It was a great experience and although my brain was pretty fried by the end, I would totally do it again!
It wasn’t all work — we got to squeeze in a date night at the new hot spot Tinto. Basque tapas, people: duck confit with black cherry, pork belly with honey lacquer, donuts with date-olive oil ice cream…yah, I know. Insanely good.
After seeing this A.Wang-ish rocker chic iPhone case on Gold & Gray, I HAD. TO. HAVE. ONE. Mine now. ;o)
And thankfully, I got lots of “unrushed” time with my munchkin.
