Classic Legends under Mahindra has recently launched a new 350 cc motorcycle in the Indian market. Its name – Jawa 350. It is marketed as a replacement for Jawa Jawa. Again in the neo-retro bike segment Honda’s new model CB350 has appeared. Now the question is, how well will the Jawa 350 be able to compete with this Honda bike? Let’s find out through a comparative discussion.

Jawa 350 vs Honda CB350 : Looks

In terms of design, the Jawa 350 looks very similar to the Jawa 353 that was sold in the Indian market in 1970. Visually it is a complete retro bike. It has mostly chrome touches. Again the old-school look is given by the halogen headlights. There are also surprises in the design of the instrument cluster. On the other hand, despite being a retro motorcycle, Honda CB350 has LED lighting elements and digital analog instrument cluster. Comes with alloy wheels and chrome.

Jawa 350 vs Honda CB350 : Engine and Gearbox

Powering the newly launched Jawa 350 is a 334 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. Where previously there was a 294 cc motor. The new engine produces a maximum of 22 bhp and 28.2 Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission and slipper and assist clutch.

Whereas the Honda CB350 has a 348.36 cc, air cooled, long stroke engine to power the wheels. It produces a maximum power of 20.78 bhp at 5,500 rpm and a torque of 29.4 Nm at 3,000 rpm. It has a 5-speed gearbox and slip and assist clutch.

Jawa 350 vs Honda CB350 : Price

Jawa 350 is sold in single variant only. It is priced at Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the price of Honda CB350 has gone up to Tk 2.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Considering all the aspects, we think it is profitable to buy the Honda bike.
