London Walks guide & Daily Constitutional Associate Editor Richard III continues
his series in which he chats to our London Walkers.
This time, it's Londoner
born-and-bred Jenny Rouse…
I was born just off Kilburn High Road.
Iverson Road – four of us in two rooms. I remember starting school in Kilburn, then
after winning £200 on the pools coupon.and with some help from two of my uncles
we moved to a house in North Wembley. I remember because as my father didn't
have enough deposit he was allowed to leave his cigarette lighter as security!
Enjoyed the walk All Change at St. Pancras
very much.I recommend them to everyone.
