WhatsApp in China How to Use in May 2023

Some time ago WhatsApp messaging service (Facebook Inc.) was partially blocked in China by the government.

Many WhatsApp users in China reported connection problems.

WhatsApp in China is now not responsible country's censorship.
Charlie Smith, co-founder of GreatFire.org commented on this problem:

"The Chinese authorities want to be able to monitor all communication on the internet. By blocking WhatsApp, they limit the choices that Chinese have to send private and encrypted communications and force more and more users to adopt WeChat as their messaging app. While WhatsApp messages are encrypted, WeChat is unencrypted and highly censored. On WeChat, a hugely popular messaging app run by China's Tencent Holdings Ltd., people are asked to use their real names. This is part of the censorship master plan."

If you want to protect your privacy from Chinese authorities and their censorship of social media and messaging platforms you can use a VPN solution.

You can easily Unblock Whatsapp call in Dubai with Sahrzad.

The problem is that China now blocks most popular vpn services. However we selected several services which work fine in China today (tested July 2017).

VPN is a virtual private network that can be used on any device like iPhone, iPad, Android tablets and phones, and on computers as well.

You do not need any additional application to setup vpn connection on your device.

Here you can find simple vpn setup guides - just find your operation system and follow the instructions.
