After this upgrade, GIFs sent in chat will play automatically, you will not need to tap on the GIF separately to see it.

In the latest leaked report of Wabetainfo, information about this upgrade found in the GIF feature has been given. According to the report, this new upgrade has been seen under the WhatsApp beta Android 2.23.10.2 update. Users who have installed the latest version on their devices have got to see this upgrade. As soon as the beta users of the latest version open the WhatsApp chat on the device, the GIF present in the chat automatically plays. A screenshot of this upgrade has been shared in the report. It can be seen in the screenshot how the Gif present in the chat is playing automatically.

Let me tell you, earlier the GIF sent in the chat did not play until you tap on that GIF. GIFs still work the same way on normal WhatsApp. Users who installed the latest beta version earlier appeared to have this upgrade bug. However, it was later revealed that this is actually an upgrade found in GIF. At present, this upgrade is limited to the beta version, but it can be expected that in the coming time this upgrade can be rolled out for everyone.

In addition, WhatsApp users will now be able to transfer their chats from one device to another without Google Drive. However, this feature has also been brought only for beta users. This feature of WhatsApp has been added in Android 2.23.9.19 version. For this, the option of Chat Transfer will be available in the chat section inside the WhatsApp setting in the Android smartphone. It will be found below Chat Backup. After selecting the option, you will have to scan the QR code that appears to start the process of migrating your chat history to the new Android device.
