There’s not much more fun for a bookworm this holiday season than giving and receiving books. Justine and I already got to participate in a party created especially for exchanging books where you bring a book wrapped with some descriptions on the cover but that’s it, and exchange books in a White-Elephant style for the book you want based on those adjectives.
Here’s what Chad and I brought:
Since the party has already happened, I’ll answer my own “What…? Wednesday” and tell you what we brought! I brought The History of Love by Nicole Krauss (which I talked about in my gender stereotypes rant here) and Chad brought an illustrated edition of Dracula. Not a graphic novel, it’s the full original classic, but with illustration by the majorly talented Becky Cloonan.Other books I’m gifting to friends and family this year include The Fault in our Stars by John Green, Delirium by Lauren Oliver, and If I Stay by Gayle Forman.
What books are you gifting this year? Tell us in the comments!
