What to Wear with Leopard Print Shoes

Imogen I was hoping you could give some ideas on what to wear with leopard print loafers/flats. I'm seeing them in all the shops and I think they might be what I need to spark up my wardrobe. As a full time mum with some feet issues I'm always in flats or sneakers and I feel a bit drab sometimes. But leopard print feels SO bold its scary. Argh

Firstly, choose a leopard print that works with your colouring.

Then you can think about what to wear them with.

Just like a coloured shoe (I created a quick video here on how to wear a coloured shoe), leopard print shoes add interest and detail, plus sometimes an additional colour to your outfit.

If you are worried about your shoes standing out and looking too obvious or unrelated:

1. Wear a patterned top. Pattern with pattern, as long as the colours relate, will diffuse the boldness of the shoes.
2. Wear a belt or another element in leopard print - it could be leopard bangles, a leopard scarf or belt. This extra element will draw the eye up the body and create harmony with the shoes
3. Add a necklace that is made of multiple small roundish elements. This repeats the pattern of the leopard print, but in a more subtle way.
4. Go for a more subtle print if you don't want your shoes to be a huge feature. Either small in scale and more dense, or lower in contrast.
