I know I'm going rather specific with this years gift guides but I really wanted to help those people that have specific hobbies. After the glorious great British bakeoff it seems lots of us fancy our hand at being a foodie so here are a few top gifts from a broad budget range for the ultimate food lover and kitchen goddess!
From under £10 right the way up to £350, there is truly something for every budget...
// Accessories
I do like a good apron and I particularly loved these two above. You can't beat a logo, especially with a minty green apron too! Now you may be a bit shocked when I tell you where they are from, as I was! H&M! Plus they were both £7.99. What a crazy awesome bargain.
// Mugs
They may seem the most exciting present but a great set of mugs is wonderful. It means all those free promotional ones can go in the bin and you now have a beautiful set. Mugs are relatively cheap pressie too, so team these Next set of 4 with maybe posh tea bags... and ta-da you've got an amazing present.
// Utensils
If you cook you'll know any utensils will be fine but it's a bit like make up brushes, they work fine but the more expensive the better quality or the more appealing... and that is the same in this situation. I was going to add a set of knives on here but felt a matching set like these Typhoon ones from Very.co.uk was far more appropriate.
// Electronics
I've popped a KitchenAid from AO.com on here purely because it wouldn't be a proper food related gift guide without one! I have one that was a big present and I've never looked back. You can get so many mixers like this but the kitchen aid is top of the price ladder. As I say there are many out there so you could get a cheaper one then maybe buy the ingredients for a cake and make that the gift.
// Glasses
I love these Wilko champagne flute glasses and they're are a nice touch as a gift, I actually find that they are never something I actively go out to buy myself and if I do they are plain. Getting someone some sparkly ones like this is certainly one of those presents people love.
// Decorations
I've added slate coasters which I discovered whilst hunting for presents on The Brilliant Shop website, so they are on here because I really like slate details and of course the fact they're hearts! Bit of a cheeky one because these could go pretty much anywhere in the house. However things like coasters, maybe kitchen related pictures and cute accessories are a nice touch to a present.
// Others
As you can see I have a Habitat jug and some Mason Cash tins I haven't mentioned. These are what I like to call padding presents, items either asked for specifically or presents I'll use as a base and build around. I.e with the tins I may add cupcake holders and cake decorating accessories. The jug could be used for cooking with or as a kitchen accessory, so I'd add false flowers to go in them for the kitchen windowsill.
So there you go! Kitchen lovers are very easy to shop for, have a nose in Tkmaxx for so cheap high end brands, for electronics try AO.com as they're pretty cheap in comparison to others, for false flowers and accessories try Dunelm, then Next for mugs and cutlery.
