And a quick follow up to David's Streets Ahead post yesterday about Dickens (put up on the day itself, the 200th anniversary of Dickens' birth).
David - Wisconsin-bred and born - is in London because of Charles Dickens.*
1) Principle Knock-on Effect One: his children got here because of Charles Dickens!
2) Principle Knock-on Effect Two: the difference he's made to London Walks is because of Charles Dickens.
(And by way of a grace note: he's been tapped to go to Buckingham Palace next week. Because of Charles Dickens.)
