What the Apple Frenzy Represents

By now you've likely heard that pre-orders for the new iPhone 6 are sold out and that Apple is pushing a $350 watch that will also likely be a big seller because... well... because...  because we're fooled into thinking we'll somehow be better in possession of it.

Don't be fooled.

What follows I think says less about the powers that be at Apple who are merely in it for the money, and much more about those of us who are buying into their sales pitch and allowing ourselves to be defined by what it is we own.

Let's pursue a better life... by being better rather than having better.

And listen, if you want an Apple Watch... might I suggest the following... apple not included:
