A few days ago I finally got my FEB SaladBox!!! It was already March when this got delivered. It was the first time my box was delivered so late.. I wonder why? It was supposed to be their Valentines-themed box.
Anyway, here are the contents and the corresponding prices with my first impressions/thoughts:
- Carmex Click Stick with SPF in Original (Php 110) - I super loved the previous Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm they sent me which should be applied at night. Now I’m excited to try this one for daytime use. Between my Burt’s Bees and Carmex, I choose the latter one because I find it more moisturizing and effective.
- Beauty and Bright Facial and Body Lightening Moringa Soap (Php 115) - I never would have known this brand if not for SaladBox! But since I’m all for discovering up and coming brands, this is a welcome addition to my list. Let’s see if this product works, stay tuned for my product review!
- Go Fickle Eye and Lip Liner Brush (Php 300) - For a lip liner brush this one is expensive, or am I being such a cheap ass here? I bought my first and only lip liner brush from Watsons for less than Php 100! But then again I realized that lip liner sucks, as in it doesn’t line my lips properly because it’s not pointy enough and the bristles are sabog. Anyway, one good factor I see with this lip liner brush is that the other end is an eye liner brush! Awesome!
- Hotshop Amethyste EDT (Php 500) - I never heard of this brand before. But it has a sweet smelling scent that can be for daily use and it is not so overpowering.
- Amuse Lipliner (Php 150) - Lip balm, lip liner brush, and now this lip liner… I think their love-month box is supposed to be kiss-friendly! Haha! Anyway, I’m honestly happy to get this in my box but upon opening it, it’s broken! :( I immediately emailed SaladBox about it and they responded after a few minutes telling me they would replace it and get it delivered to me for free! WOW, that’s great customer service right there!
- Vanilla & Co. Drops of Dew (Php 150) - Ohh I love the scent of this one so much! It’s a facial and body moisturizer with vanilla scent. <3 <3 <3
- Bittersweet Waxing Studio Php 100 GC - I don’t mind getting GCs as long as there’s no purchase required for me to avail of the product/service. Will visit Bittersweet soon, time to be hair-free this coming summer!
So there you go. My first impressions on the contents of this last month’s SaladBox. This is the last box from the 3-month subscription I paid for. Again as I’ve said before, I’m really thankful for Saladbox for making me discover new brands or products I wouldn’t have thought of trying! That’s the whole beauty of subscription boxes. isn’t it? Plus I think I got my money’s worth because if you compute for everything I got since my first box, it’s more than the Php 1500 I paid for! For a cheap-o like me, this definitely gets two thumbs up!
