Short answer? Not a lot! The past few weeks have been difficult with continued problems limiting my mobility and ability to stand for long and sapping my energy. I've now got an infection in my foot and I'm on antibiotics in fairly large doses and suffering from intermittent nausea which doesn't help.
Normally in these circumstances I read a lot and write for one or other of my blogs, but this time I haven't even managed that, so they are languishing similarly. Even reading has been an effort. I did however manage to get to the Kurt Schwitters shows at Tate Britain and the Bernard Jacobson Gallery, in the process also taking in a wonderful show of early prints by Howard Hodgkin also at the Jacobson gallery. I want to write about both but the Jacobson shows will be over I think by the time I manage it. In case I don't here is the online catalogue, published on Issuu.
Beyond that a few doodles in my sketchbook has been more or less it. These were based on some photos I took at Pagham Harbour near Chichester, a wonderful place I want to revisit, with luck combining it with a visit to Pallant House Gallery in Chichester. I have some ideas for collagraphs in a similar style to my Dales Memories prints, which I was revisiting when I last managed any studio time.
