What is the One Best Place to Spray Perfumes?

The power of fragrances is definitely irrefutable. It has become common knowledge that the way you smell can have a great impact on the way the people surrounding you perceive you and also on the ways in which they react to your presence words and actions. Moreover, your smell has a big impact even on the way you perceive yourself.

When you are applying fragrance, you want it to last and to be obvious, but in a discreet and elegant manner. This is why it is important to know how to best apply a perfume.

Most likely you have heard that the best place to apply a fragrance is on a so-called "pulse point". Basically, pulse points are small areas on the body where your blood passes close to the skin. This makes them warmer than the rest of your body and thus better to release fragrance throughout the day.

What is the One Best Place to Spray Perfumes?
The most well-known pulse points are your wrists, behind your ears and on your neck.

However, while all this might be true, spraying your perfume only on your pulse points has a lot of disadvantages. First of all, the warmth caused by your pulsating blood drives off the scent quite fast. Secondly, your neck, your ears and your wrists are generally areas that are exposed a lot to air, which also causes the fragrance to dissipate fast.

Therefore, you must find an area that is not exposed too much to air that is not very warm either. This is why a great way to go is to spray your fragrance on your chest, between your skin and clothes. This way, it will slowly move upward to your neck through your shirt as well as to your arms.

This way, your fragrance will last longer and will feel more "universal", rather than just a small local spot.

Many men complain that their fragrances tend to run out during the day. It is true that some perfumes hold out longer than others (having one that holds out too long isn't that great either - you want to take it off at some point), but if you have a perfume you really like and that seems to be losing its scent on you after a few hours, there is nothing wrong with refreshing it by spraying a new wave of fresh perfume. This way, you will make sure that you smell nicely all the time and that you make the most of your fragrance.

Of course, when you need to refresh, you don't have to take your clothes off - just spray from a distance towards your neck and chest.

Also, as an extra tip, keeping your skin well-moisturized will help you add a few hours to how much your perfume lasts.

Once you find a perfume that suits your needs and preferences, it is great to know how to apply it best. This way, you will make the most of it and will enjoy it all throughout the day.
