What is Natural Pearls ? Answer : Natural pearls are formed by nature,  in other words more or less by chance. What is Cultured Pearls? Answer :  Cultured pearls are human creation. How? By inserting a tissue graft from an oyster, upon which a pearl sack forms where the inner side precipitates calcium carbonate in the form of nacre. The cultured pearls can be divided into two : a. Beaded cultured pearls : these pearls are gonad grown and (usually) one pearl is grown at a time. b. Non beaded fresh water cultured pearls : they grow in the mantle, where each wing up to 25 grafts can be implanted.
