I think the rule of no white after labor day is so dated and this outfit shows how you can take your white jeans and make them work during this transitional season. By pairing with a darker color top and shoes, it doesn't scream middle of summer. I think white jeans look fantastic with a grey or black turtleneck sweater and black ankle boots, with a camel blouse or sweater and brown suede boots... I've written about wearing white after Labor Day, this post gives many suggestions on how to rock those white jeans into fall and this one has tips on how to wear white jeans in winter.

I love learning about new fashion brands, especially when they have an extensive size range and are reasonably priced. So when JD Williams reached out I knew I had to feature them on Wardrobe Oxygen! Those in the UK may be familiar with JD Williams, a sister company to SimplyBe. The company was founded in 1875 by James David Williams, who in 1882, was the first to make use of the UK's parcel post service, to send his company's products direct to his customers. JD Williams has come to the United States offering figure flattering fashion in US sizes 6-28 and a variety of widths for footwear. All orders over $40 have free shipping and returns are free.
Right now JD Williams is offering Wardrobe Oxygen 40% off their purchase with promo code WARDROBE40. Please note this discount doesn't work on items already on discount 60% or more.
Since I wasn't familiar with JD Williams I ordered a variety of pieces to try the brand out. This is the Short Bonded Suedette Jacket in 14. The sleeves are roomy and the body quite full; I think I could have gone with a 12 for a more tailored trim look. The fabric is soft and drapes nicely; it has a sueded finish but is lightweight and comfortable to wear right now. If you follow me on InstaStories you know I wore this jacket last week to the office. Since the jacket has a safari vibe, I thought the mural on the side of this building was a fitting backdrop!Under it is the khaki tank from the Pack of 3 Vests; I was afraid a 12/14 would be too small so I ordered 16/18. I think I could have done the 12/14, but these tanks really helped me see the flattering fit of JD Williams. Even though the tank is large... it's not gaping. You can't see my bra under the arms, the neck isn't sliding to the side. I could take off this jacket and wear it alone, and it would just be a fuller tank, tucked in and bloused out. And I washed and dried it and it didn't shrink! Stay tuned, this will not be the last time you see JD Williams on the blog!
