I love turquoise jewelry. I have had several pieces over the years. When we did our cross-country road trip a few years ago, Karl purchased me a turquoise cuff in Four Corners (seen in this outfit post). My sister bought me a turquoise ring for my 40th birthday, and I have turquoise pieces in my jewelry box that I've owned since high school. My husband also loves turquoise; he has several rings (one that he also purchased on that road trip). Knowing his love of the stone, I got him this vintage belt buckle with our last name for Christmas last year.

It looks so fresh, and it's such a bright way to ring in spring, even when Mother Nature is still pretending it's winter.
Chaco Canyon jewelry is designed by Courtney Elkins, a fifth-generation jewelry designer. She grew up around Native American jewelry; her parents own Native American trading posts in New Mexico. Courtney got the jewelry making bug from her family and attended the Gemological Institute of America and got her graduate gemologist certificate. She came back home to New Mexico and partnered with Native American artisans to create high-quality jewelry. Chaco Canyon has been manufacturing Native American jewelry since the '70s and their pieces are unique, high quality, and beautiful.
These jewelry pieces are made with what is called Bluewater Turquoise. Chaco Canyon had to sort over 30 buckets of turquoise to get this color. Once sold out it will be hard to redo or replace this color. And the gorgeous bracelet from this set is the HSN Today's Special Value for today, March 26th! I wasn't informed of the price ahead of time so once I know I will update this post accordingly. The bracelet is available through Flex pay, which provides a few months to pay without accruing interest. I'm not being paid to promote this deal, I just think it's pretty fantastic considering the price of sterling and turquoise jewelry.
I love that the ring goes up to a size 12; often I cannot find rings to fit my fingers. You may have noticed I wore the ring a lot during my weekend in Palm Springs and it's made many cameos in my Instagram Stories the past couple of weeks.
This is the denim jacket that I wore in Palm Springs and raved about on Facebook and Instagram. It really is amazing and with this weather I have been throwing it on over all my outfits. It looks like traditional denim but it's actually quite soft and stretchy. It has deep interior pockets; I can even fit my large phone in there with room to spare!
And these are the same jeans I wore in Palm Springs and wore in this outfit post. The more I wear them the more I like them; they don't stretch out and while they're not as thick as I like for white jeans, they're opaque (with skin-colored underwear) and they're not too tight yet still look slim and trim with longer tops or blazers. And they really are stain resistant; on the way to this shoot I spilled tea on my leg; it beaded up and I was able to remove it without even being left with a damp spot! If this isn't the kind of silhouette you like in white jeans, Chico's has a variety of styles with the no-stain technology.
