I believe kimono tops/jackets made waves here in the Philippines last year. It also gained popularity in the US with celebs such as Miley Cyrus, Nicole Richie, and Nicky Hilton donning this look. These Asian inspired tops exude a very laid back and casual vibe. It’s also perfect for our tropical weather because it’s usually light and made of soft material. Since it is a loose top make sure to balance it out with slim/straight cut jeans, shorts or leggings.

I recently scored this kimono top in Greenhills for only Php200! I guess it’s never too late to jump into the bandwagon and follow this trend, eh?
