If you've been reading for a bit you know I'm a fan of Payless; I featured some of their great holiday shoes and accessories this winter and have rocked a few great pairs of their footwear for many years. Payless asked me to check out their spring offerings and yet again I was impressed by the style, the fit, and of course the great prices. If you follow me on Snapchat (wardrobeoxygen) or Instagram you know Emerson I visited our local Payless last week and we both found great shoes for the season.

One of the pairs I picked up was these d'Orsay pumps in a soft gold metallic. I have a pair of silver pumps and find they're incredibly versatile and a great way to glam up a simpler look. I've wanted a pair in gold but I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. Payless is one of my go-tos for achieving trendy footwear looks for less. Not only are they a fun color, but the d'Orsay cut-out side is sexy and more airy for spring and summer, and the shoe has a flexible rubber sole.

These shoes could be paired with jeans and a top for a night out, be paired with a dress of most any color or style for a wedding or dressy occasion, or add a fun touch to work looks. I styled these with cream trousers and a silk blouse, with black ankle pants and a silk tee, bootcut jeans and a crisp white shirt, straight ankle jeans and a Breton tee, a pencil skirt with denim jacket, and this look on the blog. Pretty impressive versatility for less than $30!
