I straddle the line between regular and plus sizes; when it comes to sweaters I find plus size provides a better fit because it's cut to accommodate curves. Come winter, I love long cardigans like this one from Halogen; for Casual Friday or a weekend, I wear it like this over slim jeans; during the work week I've paired it with a black ponte dress and tall boots and with my faux leather front pants and black heeled booties. Not too much weight, but the merino wool provides warmth. This day I decided to pair my smoky grey cardigan and jeans with some shiny accents - silver jewelry and booties.

It has a pleated back and shaping so it's not tight, but it doesn't hang like a tent - great for layering under everything from suiting blazers to casual knits.
