Do you ever get something in the mail or from the mall and want to wear it that very day? I did that very thing with this top from ASOS; I got home too late to open the order that arrived, but the next morning I pulled this top out and wore it to brunch with friends. I really like the look of breezy cotton off the shoulder tops like this but don't want to pay a ton for this trend. ASOS to the rescue, this top was under $50 and a more flattering shape than others I've tried that are too full in the sleeves, too long or cropped in the body. The elastic is mostly for show; the top is designed where it will stay off the shoulder (and not slip down). This will be great in the DC humidity with a pair of cut-off shorts or linen pants.

I got this Rebecca Minkoff moto bag on Poshmark (use code PMZYS for $5 off) a few months ago; the price was insanely low and though it's not a current style the bag came in pristine condition with dust bag and tags inside. It had a slim crossbody strap that was fine, but looked a bit wimpy and dug into my shoulders when the bag was full. I saw Rebecca Minkoff was carrying guitar straps and got one to update the bag, but it also looks great with a few other bags in my closet that have removable straps. What a brilliant way to give new life to old bags!
